For My Homework I Had To Create And Label A Colour Wheel. Above Are Some Images Of Colour Wheels With Lables.

In the picture above, the large letters stand for what colour group they belong in like T stands for Territory colours, P stands for primary colours and S stands for secondary colours.

Primary colours can not be made by any other colour in fact they are the colours that create the secondary colours. The primary colours consist of blue, red and Yellow.

Secondary colours are colours made by primary this group of colours are green, purple and orange.

If you mix these group of colours together in many different ways you will be able to get the territory colours.

The territory colours are yellow-green, red violet, red-orange, blue-violet, blue-green and yellow-orange.

Obverse side A 20 cent coin is made of cupra-nickel.

On the old 20 cent coin was a kiwi facing right and a fern bush. In December 1990 a new 20 cent coin was introduced, on that coin was a well known Maori carving, pukaki. The significance of the pukaki is that pukaki is a chief of Ngati Whakaue.

On the reverse side of nz's 20 cent coin is queen Elizabeth the second. She is on there because she was the queen (and still is) when the money was first produced.

Many people think that moons are smaller than planets. This however is not true. There are several moons in the Solar System which are larger than both the planets Mercury, and Pluto. Neither are the moons less exciting then the planets. There are moons with volcanos, atmospheres, and even quite possibly liquid water oceans. The difference between what we call a moon, and what we call a planet has to do only with around what the world revolves, or circles. If the object circles the Sun it is called a Planet, however if it circles another world instead of the sun then it is called a moon. Moons sadly are often ignored, even though they are just as large splendid and exciting as the planets.

WALT: follow an inquiry process and present out inquiry learning about the Special Olympics using MS Movie maker. Before making this movie, I looked over the feedback I received last term for my movie about China. Some of the things I took into consideration and tried to improve on when making this movie were to make less transitions and add more expression. Something interesting I have learnt about the Special Olympics during this inquiry is that you have to be 8 or over to compete. A challenge I found in this inquiry was having to memorise the words before we were on camera, I maneged to solve this by trying on some scenes to sneak in the script.

Room 3 has their own Special Olympian. Her name is Justine and she does a sport in the Special Olympics called Tempin Bowling, she knows my uncle, his name is uncle Johnny. She trains every Wednesday Night at 6 0'clock. For the Special Olympics she had to choose her favourite out of Power Lifting and Tempin Bowling. She didn't tell us that much about Power Lifting. but,I do know one thing, that she loved her afternoon and lunchtime with Madi, Lara, Bethany, Krista, Madeline and me!!!

This movie that i did, (with me being the host) was all about Justine and how she tries her best all the time and goes for gold!!!!

Just another special thanks to Lara and Madi for opperating the camera which was on the video mode.

WALT: Follow an inquiry process.

This term as we have been learning about China, we have continued building on the inquiry skills we learnt in Term 2. We brainstorm open questions as a class and then delegated these out to pairs. The part of China Madison and I were finding out more about was Schools in China. We found our information by triangulating the information. We used a data chart to make sure our information was correct. We then used Movie Maker to present our information. Something I enjoyed was filmimg and creating our movie . An interesting fact I found was that Chinese schools in the country are'nt as flash as the schools in the . My next learning step inquiry is to know what i'm saying and take not so many clips for bloppers. I made about 10 takes.

During Week 1, we had a variety of learning experiences to tune us into ideas about our big question for this term - how are cultures and traditions expressed trough dance? We had a performance from the Boys High Pacifica group, a performance from St Peters Pacifica group and a drumming workshop. I enjoyed the drumming workshop because we got to particapate in it. Something new I learnt was that people made the drums by hand with no tools.

WALT:Recognise how st james lived a life folling jesus and spreading the good news.
Our school is named after St James because the person that helped build our school was called James. St James showed he followed Jesus because he spread the Good News truthfuly. An interesting fact about St James is that he got beheaded for spreading the Good News about Jesus Christ.

Leonohebe Cupressoides are an endangered plant.
But the funny thing about it is that you can usually spot it out the corner of your eye.
The reason why you can nearly always spot it is because occures in groups of seven to eight.

It is found in the south island, from Marlborough to Otago.
The leonohebe's flowering is from November to February.
The leonohebe cupressoides is found occuring in groups of seven and eight.
Another name for the leonohebe cupressoides is Fragrent Hebe.
Leonohebe cupressoides occures across a range of sites.
It is native to New Zealand.

Leonohebe Cupressoides (formally hebe cupressoides) is a threatened plant found on the eastern side of the south islands southern Alps/Ka Tiritiri o te moana in the south island.

while many rare species can be very hard to find, at least this plant has the virtue of being easily distinguishable with it's fragrent scent. Grayish-green colour spftly rounded canopy shape

Leonohebe Cupressoides has declined to such an extent that only four of it's nineteen known populations comprise more than 100 mature plants. Department Of Conservation recovery plan has been actioned to adress this decline.

me and my family went to the mount. we stayed at the reef for 5 nights. we were just across the road from the white sandy beach!!!!

we had aunty's and uncle's that live up in the bay of plenty. my aunty Joc and my uncle Mike live in papamoa!!!!! and my grandad lives in tauranga!!!!

i climbed up the Mount with my uncle Mike, aunty Joc and my mum!!!!!!!!!
when we got to the top the veiw was MAGNIFICENT. you could see the HOT POOLS and if you looked on to tauranga you see the bridge that leads to my grandads house!!!!!

me and my family icluding Stevie went round the dangerously crashing mount!!!! I in actual fact didn't go round just round the dangerously crashing mount but i went round the ONE metre higher track from the path!!!

WE HAD A BRILLIANT TIME AT THE MOUNT!!!!!

On christmas day, I awoke at about 6:19 I woke mum up and asked her when we could open our presents she said that we had to wait till 7:00 to open our presents, so we waited and waited untill seven o'clock came!!!!!!!!!!!!

mum, mum it's seven o'clock, so while mum woke my sister stevie india my other sister and i rushed down to see if santa had left any presents in our stockings and under our christmas tree our tree was nearly to over crowded with presents!!!!!!!!!!!

from santa I got two helicopters that battle each other and when you shot the other one it automaticaly drops to the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from mum and dad i got a high qulity rubiks cube,high school musical weekly planner,harry potter book one and even a soccer ball cuddle buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from grandad we got three equal sharing presents they were a long caterpilla for the pool an inside putting hole and a putter!!
from my uncle mike and aunty joc Igot a 45 peice artset even including oil pastels and water paints!!!!!!!!
from my oma and opa i got a boogy board and an origami book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from aunty valirie and uncle john we had to share a large pile of different types of paper like tissue,carboard and diffrent colours of paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from my nana i got a some good oil pastels an a4 pad and a book about the body!!!!

I got heaps of presets and i hope you got heaps tooooo.

on christmas eve we were setting things up for christmas,for example vacuuming up all the dust prepearing food of all sorts,tidying up the house so there's not one speck of dirt or dust and and even dusting,dusting is so important because we only do it on speacial occasions like for any birthdays,easters,speacail dinners,christmas and thats mainly all.
